Lod Detour

The film tells the story of three students from a school in Lod, one of the poorest cities in Israel, and their relationship with Ilan, the principal: Menachem, of Ethiopian descent, is a natural leader who was expelled from every educational system, spent most of his time on the streets; Hulod, an Arab girl and the daughter of a cooperative worker who lives in a world torn between her Arab identity and her family's loyalty to the State of Israe; And Danit, whose parents got divorced, stopped attending school.
