Yael-San

The story of a woman who started her journey in Japan at the age of 23, almost twenty years ago, and stayed there ever since, far away from home. A look into Yael's life, a Jewish Israeli woman who's been living in a Japanese Buddhist temple married to a priest for the last seventeen years. Yael lives a never-ending conflict trying to keep a Buddhist way of life on one hand and her Jewish identity on the other.
