Longing For Home

Summary – It is a story about an old Israeli family reflected by individual hours in one flat during playing piano melody. Ronen Steingold, single age 53. who live in Australia, returns to his mothers house in the Carmel (where she lived for 27 years) in order to clear it for new tenants, as a result of his mother moving to sheltered housing. Together with his only brother, Tal Steingold, single in his late 50s who lives in the Haifa suburbs (the Krayot), they evacuate the house’s furniture and memories.
