Two women work together, cleaning the apartment belonging to one, who lives amongst piles of junk and dirt collected through years of neglect. Over the years she has also taken in 12 cats, whom she treats like kings, taking up most of her time and energy – cleaning and replacing the litter boxes, feeding, caring for them, and more. As the two women work together, an intimate connection is formed, and conflict arises between one friend's desire to help and the other's inability to part with her filth, her stuff, and her habits
