1948-Remember, Remember not

Two films that create one work about the 1948 Palestine war. The past line retells the history through journals and letters that were written in real time. An ensemble of voices, Jewish and Arabs, allows a glimpse into the way the perception of this war was constructed. They’re accompanied by breathtaking original footage. In the present, the characters are battling over the war’s memory – some of which are responsible for preserving its ethos, while others are breaking it. Each one believes that the way this crucial war’s memory will be embedded is critical to the future of Israel.
